  • Carnival/Circus Application

  • Home Improvement License
    • Home improvement contractors and salespersons contracting to work on residential property; anyone signing a contract with a homeowner must register.
  • Homemaker Companion Agency Registration
    • Homemaker companion agencies need to register with the CT Department of Consumer Protection before working.
  • Interior Designer Registration
    • If you plan to start a business as an interior designer, you must register with the state before you begin.
  • Liquor Permits
    • If your business plans on selling liquor, you will need approval before you can begin selling. There are many different types of liquor permits depending on how you plan to sell liquor.     • If you plan to work as a locksmith, you need to be licensed by the CT Department of Consumer Protection before starting work.

    • If you plan to work as a real estate broker, you will need to be licensed by the state.

    • If you plan to sell real estate, you will need to pass an examination and be licensed by the state.
